Dr. Steven Smith | DMD

Dr. Smith, a Utah native, earned his degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. Demonstrating exceptional clinical skill, he achieved a perfect score on his clinical exam and was honored with an Award of Excellence from the Academy of Osseointegration for his outstanding work in Implant Dentistry.  

Dr. Smith and his family returned to the South Jordan area in 2006, “I had the opportunity to have a great education from a great school, but I knew this was home for us.” Dr. Smith and his wife Wendy, who is also a Utah native, have five children and together they appreciate the welcoming culture and unique personality of the region. Despite the changes brought by growth in the South Valley, Dr. Smith believes the area retains its close-knit, small-town atmosphere-an ethos reflected in the way he cares for his patients. He is committed to treating every patient with the same care and respect he extends to his own family. With Dr. Smith’s extensive training and mastery in the latest dental techniques he is able to provide a complete spectrum of dental care. His practice includes family dentistry, cosmetic, implants, endodontics, restoration, and oral surgery.

Dr. Scott Craven | DDS

Dr. Scott Craven is a Utah native and has been practicing dentistry since 1996. He is a seasoned dentist and proficient in all aspects of general dentistry including restorative dentistry, oral surgery, dental implant placement and restoration, cosmetics, endodontics, orthodontics, and laser assisted dentistry.

Dr. Craven loves learning. He graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He attended Creighton University Dental School in Omaha, Nebraska, and was one of ten students selected for the RDEP program in which he was able to attend his first year in the medical school at University of Utah. Years later, he earned a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling and subsequently a PhD doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. As a practicing dentist, Dr. Craven understands the challenges dentists face and with his degrees in psychology he has a deep understanding of the mindset necessary to create a thriving dental practice and develop an empowered dental team.

Dr. Craven and his wife are the parents of five children and three grandchildren (more to come!!). He enjoys writing and has written two fiction novels and embraces anything in the science fiction or fantasy genre. Pickelball is a new favorite and he enjoys playing with the family when he gets a chance. He actively serves in his church and community.
